ARC - Helsingør 2002

Kronborg Castle in Helsingør, Denmark, viewed from Hotel Marienlyst (June 2002) where ARC meeting was held. It is world-renowned as Elsinore, the setting of Shakespeare's Hamlet. See history here.

The Mansion of Marienlyst in the main road between hotel and Helsingör center. Originally built in 1587 and conceived as an observation pavilion overlooking the Sound, it was reconstructed about 1760. Today the mansion, surrounded by a park, serves as a museum with Louis XVI furniture, views of the town, etc.
